Genesis 1:27 tells us that “God created man in His image.” Just as God is 3 in 1, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, man is 3 in 1, spirit, mind, and body. Just as the 3 persons of God are unified, so the 3 parts of man must be unified.
At Spartan Lifestyle, we don’t just provide nutrition and fitness. We want to help you “Glorify God in your body" (1Corinthian 6:20), and to “be transformed by the renewal of your mind" (Romans 12:2). It is important to us that “your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless" (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
Just as a tripod would fall if one leg were removed, a health and wellness approach without spirit, mind, and body (all 3) is doomed to fail. One must work to completely strengthen themselves so that they may be “perfectly holy” and better equipped to use their skills, talents, and gifts to serve others and the Kingdom.
